Position Summary:
As a Financial Planner at ASI Wealth Gauteng, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. This includes providing advice on investments, retirement, estate planning, tax planning, and risk management. Your role is critical in helping clients achieve their financial objectives through professional and ethical financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.
2. Understand and assess clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
3. Offer continuous support and advice to clients to help them meet their financial objectives.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and develop customised financial plans.
2. Provide investment advice and portfolio management guidance.
3. Assist clients with retirement planning, including pension schemes and provident funds.
4. Advise on estate planning, including wills and trusts.
5. Implement tax-efficient strategies and solutions.
Compliance and Regulatory:
1. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards as set by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
2. Stay informed about industry trends, legislation, and best practices.
3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and transactions.
Business Development:
1. Identify opportunities for expanding the client base and pursue new business leads.
2. Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote financial planning services.
3. Participate in networking events and seminars to enhance visibility and build professional connections.
Skills and Competencies:
1. In-depth knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. High ethical standards and integrity.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
6. Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
